A tier list is only a starting point

A ranking usually represents one version, one activity, and one evaluation standard. Your best choice also depends on acquisition cost, team role, skill synergy, and the resources you already have.

Four checks before investing

1. Is the version and update date visible?
2. Does the ranking explain its activity and criteria?
3. Does it separate easy early targets from rare late targets?
4. Can its recommendations be checked against compendium, item, and quest data?

Prefer rankings with reasons over unexplained letters. Read the compendium verification notes before spending scarce resources.
